HOFFMAN PARK and EXPANSION
In the past Hoffman Park was the Gem of the neighborhood.For the past two years I have seen the park neglected by the RWNA.I have and others on many occassions have found trucks and cars in the park mostly on saturday and sunday. We ask the people to move and they tell us to go away and who are you to tell us what we can do here. We tell them about the no vehicle signs and the purpose of the cement border.We have told the Park Cop Calvin Haines who is a board member and he does nothing.Tonight I went for a walk and found the toilet lights, the over head ramada lights, and two pole lights are not on.There are no dog pick up bags in the dispenser and one other dispenser is gone.There is water all over on the toilet floors and the ramada is trashed. Hoffman Park was taken care of by association members working with the city park dept. Now nothing is being done to take care of the park by the association. The association issues are to take care of our neighbohood. Expansion has greatly contributed to the neglect and rundown conditions of the park.What are you going to do RWNA!
