One of my favorite neighborhood activities is going down to our community park, and playing with my 4-year old daughter on all the play equipment. We have met so many kind neighbors there that I look forward to each opportunity that we have to play at the park.
The last time that I went to the park, I met the children of one of my neighborhood friends. We had a lovely visit, but I was dismayed to see that someone had marked the play set with graffiti. The top canvas was torn, and the bench by the baby swings was uprooted.
Many of our neighbors dedicate time and energy to maintaining this playground for our children.
The Allens removed the graffiti, and the Peavys helped fix the bench. Thank you.
I encourage neighbors with children to visit the playground as often as possible to meet your neighbors and stay involved in our community.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Your action will ensure a safe environment for our children and help to increase our property values.
