There will be a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday October 14th at 7pm to vote to fill the unexpired term of the seat vacated by the recent resignation of Councilwoman Judy O'Brien.

The Council will also be considering bids and contracts for street repair projects and also supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year.

Any resident that is interested in being considered by the Council for the seat on Council should let the Council know their intentions by Monday October 11th 5pm.

Meeting Rescheduled

The Special Meeting was rescheduled to Tuesday Oct 19th.

Notices were posted in the Village. The reason for rescheduling the meeting was that the only resident who asked to be considered for the open seat on Council had to work overtime so they could not attend the meeting. Also, one member of Council was out of the country and another was out of town but in the State.

That would have only left 3 members of Council to meet and that would not have been enough to hold a meeting or pass emergency legislation as five members are needed.
