Isn't it time that the schools woke up to what kids need and how to teach them to learn rather than the old school learning that has failed our kids?

Perhaps the waiting lists for the charter schools demonstrate that good schools can be public schools if parents, youth and teachers are all equal at the table in coming up what the community needs...many kids have the values, but they are not challenged or not listened to with their problems- some not of their making....and then there is the PART program that parents and teachers and others can help refer kids for resource help vs truancy and declines.
