Re: Action Plan Revision

Does your block need stop signs? Speed humps? Posted speed limits? What about sidewalks, or curbs?

Is your area safe? What are your ideas to make it safer? Are you willing to be a Block Captain for Neighborhood Watch?

Does Code Enforcement need to be enforced in your area? Do you need more frequent police patrols?

Give us your concerns and ideas! We want to make Fourth Plain Village the best it can be, but we need everyone's help to do it!
Public Facilities & Services

Objective #2

Item 2 askesx for street lights on Norris - Norris has a street light on every intersection now.

Areas that have no lighting currently:
29th between Grand & Watson
Corner of Watson & 25th
Drummond between 30th & 32nd
Watson need 1 more between 30th & 32nd
Algona & Hazelwood both seemed generally very dark...just a few lights
South end of Howard?

Community Appearance

Objective #1

I think we should better take advantage of the city's neighborhood programs, by:

1) having an annual picnic in Evergreen Park, using the BBQ, tables & trash cans. In conjuctiong annually with the night out, and with our local police representation and do children ID packets would be nice as well. we could maybe even get local businesses to participate in some way with either sponsorship or give-aways.

2)having a spring cleanup that includes the chipper, the trucks, the clean-up coupons, the appliance round-up, and kicks off a neighborhood contest for our winner(s) for the Vancouver Sparkles Awards. I would suggest two winners annually - one based on some beauty/garden criteria and one for most improved property, submitting before & after pictures.
