Speed Bumps for Palms

Dear Marce:

Your story is compelling. Maybe we should find out (or maybe you already know) whether your neighbors on Palms agree that speed bumps are needed. Then our traffic committee can undertake to make it happen. What do you think?

Just say No to Speed Bump mania

There are way to many speed bumps.

Follow the herd and the NIMBI solution to traffic. And have a lot of traffic stop and then accelerate in front of your house.

Just as soon as you have a broken bone and have to ride in an ambulance over the dang things you will feel the pain that they have caused me.

What if the paramedic in that 3,600-pound fire truck is racing to your house for your loved one's life? Will you love the same speed bumps then?

Think People... Public right of way. For the good of the community. Built and paid for by public funds for the use of all the public. City services.

More good goes down that street than just the few bad apples you complain about.

We can get a few more of them to cool their jets by having a cop pass out a few tickets. But do not think a speed bump is better than the utility of a good road.

A speed bump is an upside down pothole.

Limited sight...

I can not tell you how many cops, how many times I have called the station, any time I see a cop in a car around our hood, I try to, in the simplest of words, tell them how much money he and the man will make if they just sit on their fat asses out on palms and give out tickets. Take a guess Keith, It's not going to happen. Your not getting the point slower traffic, is appealing to all that live in our hood, it will also raise property value, wow what a novel idea. Think my friend, think.
