As a neighbor, I am concerned about Kim's Market's application for a hard liquor license. We already have some issues with beach traffic and empty wine and beer bottles. I fear, when some people have access to hard liqour, this may change to the worse. In addition, I believe it will lower our property values, and make our neighborhood less safe. As of this point, Kim's Market has not extended its hours of operation, and has only filed for a conditional use permit.
Kim's Market has left flyers in the Silver Triangle about a "neighborhood meeting" on Monday, Auhust 10, at 6:30pm. I am sure they are trying to garner goodwill. I will find out when there is an actual OFFICIAL city hearing and keep you posted.
