At the Annual Meeting it was suggested that the Board investigate the possibility of using a single trash hauler for the FCMHOA community. The advantages for a single trash hauler include traffic safety, the free use of a Kart on wheels, special rates, reduced wear and tear on streets, prompt response to phone calls and special requests, clean trucks and personalized service.

SURVEY RESULTS

Thank You to all the residents who filled out the Trash Hauler Survey. We have 253 home owners in our association. To date we have received 137 replies. Statistically that is amazing.

Currently 104 homes are using Ram as their trash hauler. Next popular provider is Gallegos with 15. Then Waste Management with 11, Dick?’s with 1, BFI with 1 and 5 marked other.

In reply to the question ?“Would you be in favor of FCMHOA using a single trash hauler??” 97 respondents marked Yes; 7 said No; 24 said Don?’t Care and 9 left it blank.

From this information it does appear that there is concern for our streets and safety. I have personally called and requested price quotes from Ram, Gallegos, BFI, Dick?’s, Waste Management and Economy Waste. There was no reply from S & S of Loveland. They have all assured me that they will have a quote to me in time for board consideration at our next meeting on June 10.
