Rebuttal
Capital letters in the normal world can mean emphasis also. Not being an advid ''chatterer'' that you appear to be knowledgable in, I appolgize for YELLING and any grammatical errors! I am only human. In rebuttal to your appearent unhappiness with the way the VMCCNA is operating, I ask you only to answer these few questions: Did you offer to help this neighbor in need? Do you read the Villager Newsletter for information or activities? Do you attend the General Meetings to see/hear/feel what is going on in your neighborhood? Did you volunteer to step up and take a position in the VMCCNA to change what you think is ''wrong'' with the organization? Note: About 30 of your concerned neighbors who really care about this neighborhood, most being 30 year plus residents, put in approx. 18,600 of unpaid volunteer man hours worth approx.$210,000.00 in current ''in-kind'' services between 7/1/02 and 6/30/2002. But, it is not about the money. It's about safety, well being, welfare, home values, dignity, responsibility, caring, pride, and being a part of this community. Oh, BTW (pardon the ''chatter'' abbrev's), this organization only acts upon receiving a complaint made by a resident of this community. We varify before resolving the complaint at whatever action is necessary. Some complaints are recidivous in nature, involving the same neighbor. If not resolved in some equitable manner, whether by personal contact, newsletter article, or other means, we are forced to use what tools are necessary to see that there is a resolution. Plain fact. How many warnings does one get? How many times are we to offer help if not used or asked for. Silence only breeds silence. That's my personal opinion.
