You Not Me
I presented the ORC section on elections so that people visiting the site could see how YOU were breaking the law. I understood the section of the ORC and I followed it. I presented my personal belief that you misappropriated funds, which you did when you ordered work to be done on the parking lot of the Village Hall and did not have the authority to do so, and that you violated the Ohio Ethics law by voting to place your son on the Village Council.
Those charges were forwarded on to the appropriate authorities, the State Auditor and the Ethics Commission. You Ms. White should be thankful that they chose not to pursue the matters though they did state that you were wrong. I do not control what those authorities choose or not choose to pursue. They had the information and though admitted that you were wrong, choose not to become involved.
I supported Mr. Watkins because I believe that he was the best choice among the choices who were running for Mayor. I believed and have been proven right that Mr. Watkins was the one to be able to get things accomplished in the Village in the shortest amount of time.
I did not believe that you or Mr. Morgan could have accomplished as much for the Village as Mr. Watkins has in the same time frame. It was my personal belief based on who I felt would do the most for the Village. There is no mistake to admit. I am watching Mr. Watkins closely during his time in office to make sure that the Village is protected. That is the duty of each official to watch over each other and help prevent problems for the Village. If something is found wrong it will be investigated and forwarded to the proper authorities.
