This site, (neighborhood link) is a great way to interact on matters of local interest, not least village goverment, policy, and law. The degree of value is dependent, however on the numbers of citizens participating (either posting, or just reading).
I don't wish to detract from the purpose and activity of this group (far from it), but I would ask readers how they feel about a Facebook group site. Ideally, we should have as many channels open as possible and each serving the others, all to the same ends.
So how 'bout it? "Valleyview Area", FB group? This would be moderated (I volunteer), and would likely catch many citizens already ingaged and familiar with FB/social media. It could be open (or closed) to township or Columbus people. The security, permissions, privacy, and general scrappiness could be more easily controlled, and with more robust and familiar features, would be likely to catch and hold more local people than neighborhoodlink would alone.
