Village San Juan Townhouse Association

We just got the keys to our new home in the Village on Tuesday July 27th, 2010. That night I brought in a few items to begin the work to be done before we move in such as some tools, paper towels. some bottled water, a trash can, and a radio. I locked up and headed out. The next morning we arrived to find the front door and patio door open and our radio missing! (It was a nice radio, one of the old-time looking one with tape player, cd, tuner and record player!). It was extremely upsetting and discouraging to have this happen the first night of ownership. I felt violated, I felt watched, and now I do not feel safe in my new neighborhood! Was it just some young kids who knew it was a vacant home and snuck in through the doggie door? Was it just a coincidence that it was the first day we had the keys? Has anyone else had break-ins or noticed suspicious kids recently? 

We have lived in the village for 8 years. We have had no problems with any thing. We love it here. I hope you have no more problems, and wellcome.
