SBB Management Company is our management company. It was founded in 1974. Fred Shapiro is the owner. SBB is extensively involved with the Community Associations Institute (CAI) on a national and local level
Although the community is still under control of Centurion American Development Group, the Advisory Committee (AC) was created as a funnel for the 6500 homeowners to communicate concerns to the management company and developer.
The Woodland Word was permitted to allow ALL homeowners to participate. Merhdad retained authority to control censorship. Explicit instructions were given that Centurion and SBB would have the final authority on permitted articles, not the editor. Instructions were also given that all positions, to include the editor, would rotate to other interested homeowners. Providing an opportunity for all to participate, whereby restricting the ability for a few to control our community media.
According to sources, the community is expected to have approximately 6500 homes. The break down is as follows: East Side 2583; West Side 3917. But expect those numbers to increase. Especially between Alta Vista and 35W as land is being purchased for additional homes.

We are surrounded by many county land pockets and large properties. The location provides quick access to Hwy 35W, Hwy 170 or Hwy 377.
Conveniently, the community is within approximately 15 minutes to Fort Worth, within 15 minutes NW of DFW Airport, approximately 4 miles SE of Texas MotorSpeedway, within minutes to Denton, Southlake, Watauga or Haslet.
Due to our size, our community extends into two separate school districts, Keller ISD and Northwest ISD.
