Villages of Woodland Springs Homeowners Association

Growth

Jan 16, 2006

The area surrouding VOWS is every growing, as we know it. Here are some current issues:

Golden Triangle is slowly becoming a four lane road. Beware the construction barriers DO NOT GLOW IN THE DARK, one will not see them until upon them.

The website to gain more information on the City of Fort Worth's agenda's and decisions is http://www.fortworthgov.org/development/mtg_agendas/agendas.asp

1. The City of Fort Worth just approved some work on for Old Denton Road #VA-0532.

2. The owners at 700-800 Katy Road will be grandfathered in, due to Texas Law; however, our input is needed based on safety access to the homeowners near Katy road; plus, the deteoriation of the streets on Katy. Currently, the owners are requesting Light Industrial #ZC-05-236.

3. Next, as we all know Keller Hicks is in desperate need of a serious makeover, if it intends to be able to accomodate the capacity, the City of Fort Worth Zoning is approving for building permits. Therefore, we need to make our voices heard to the City of Fort Worth Transporation and Public Works: Robert Goode #817-392-8092 and email Robert. Goode@fortworthgov.org.

4. A day care is expected to be built at Park Vista and Keller Hicks. The current construction.

5. The new schools at Keller Hicks and Alta Vista are anticipating opening August of 2006.

If we have overlooked any growth information please email the articles and we run them in the February Newsletter. Please provide as much information as possible.
