Residents,

This was passed along to me and I thought I should share it with everyone. If you stay at home please try to be aware of when the mail arrives. Since school is out next week, please tell your older kids that if they see anyone taking mail from a box that is NOT in a marked US Postal vehicle to go tell an adult. If the adult can get the license plate number that would help the authorities. Hopefully, by being aware of this situation it won't happen here. By the way, Officer Sawyer told me it actually happened to 3/4 of Harvest Ridge!

On early Thursday morning, my neighborhood was hit by thieves opening mailboxes and taking the contents. Our whole neighborhood was hit, some homeowners reported that they had envelopes with checks in the mail, they found the envelopes opened and the checks missing. We found pieces of mail with addresses as far away as Trophy Club. Please urge your neighborhoods to keep a close watch on their mail and what they put in their mailboxes. We are suggesting the move to locking mailboxes in our neighborhood.

Thank you,

Mitchell Snyder
