I forwarded your message to the Community Manager, Anita Maxwell. Anita actually inspects the community and works with the administrative
assistant, Barbara, to send letters regarding homes in violation of the covenants.
Anita said that a number of homes in the general area you mentioned have received letters but it would be helpful if you could be more specific
about where you live so she can concentrate on the homes in your vicinity.
Just so you know, the association sends two (2) types of letters to homes that have yard issues. One type of letter is sent to owners of homes that appear to be vacant - possibly for sale or rent. The letter gives the owner five (5) days to correct the situation. If the yard issues are not corrected, the association has the lawn mowed and the charge is added to the homeowner's account.
The second type of letter is sent to occupied homes and gives the owner fifteen (15) days to correct the yard issues. If it is not corrected,
the association has the lawn mowed and the charge is added to the homeowner's account.
The only signs permitted in the community a e one (1) "For Sale" or "For Rent/Lease" sign per home and political signs during election times.
The political signs must be allowed per state law.
I am sure Anita can answer any other questions you might have; I copied her on this message so you have her email address.
If you will send her your home address she can check your area for additional issues.
