Don't forget, the annual Mingo Block Party is coming up on August 13th! This year we're doing a Luau theme, so wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt, bring a beach chair, and come hang out with us. We'll have games and crafts for the kiddoes, as well as music, non-alcoholic margaritas, door prizes, and food. The firefighters will be there from Violet Twp, as well as the Pickerington PD Dare car.

Best of all, we're going to have a pig! Yes, a roast pig will be ready for the eating. We simply ask that each family contribute one of the following:

If you live on Circle, Shalemar or Refugee, bring a side dish. If you live on Merry, Brookside, or Grandview bring a snack. Finally, folks on Bon Air, Meadow, Taylor, Hill and Melody are asked to bring a dessert.

Volunteers are still needed to help out with the kids crafts and games, so if you're available, please let one of your Civic Association people know. We can use all the help we can get.

Also, remember this is a family event. We'd love to see parents and kids attend together, as well as grandparents and their grandkids. Let's get together and meet our neighbors and have some fun!
