Wrigley is Going Green ! ---Tree Planting April 26th

  

Tree Planting April 26th

Wrigley is Going Green announces that the Neighborhood Services Bureau is sponsoring a community tree planting in Wrigley. Fifty new trees will be planted throughout the Wrigley neighborhood north of Willow to Wardlow and west of Magnolia to the L.A. river. Please join a team of your neighbors, city staff and volunteers to plant trees and make a difference.  If you live in that area and do not want a tree, please call Jim Osgood at (562) 570 - 5221.

 

Everyone will meet at 8:30 a.m. for registration and a continental breakfast at 710 W. Spring Street, Long Beach , CA 90806 . This is the corner of Maine Ave. and Spring St. at Alice Birney Elementary School .

 

Wear comfortable clothing.

 

p.s. Wrigley is Going Green! will give community service credit to participating high school students.
