The Neighborhood Services Bureau invites residents to learn about disaster preparedness on Tuesday, July 19


 This event will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Mark Twain
Neighborhood Library Community Room, located at 1401 East Anaheim
Street.  Parking is available for free in the adjacent library parking
lot.  Translation will be provided in Khmer and Spanish.

Veronica
Ornelas from the City of Long Beach's Health and Human Services
Department will provide information on disaster preparedness at this
meeting.  The event is designed to educate our community on how to
prepare for emergencies. Topics that will be covered include: How to
Create an Emergency Plan, Emergency Preparedness Tips, and How to
Prepare an Emergency Kit.

The City of Long Beach is dedicated to providing residents with the resources to create safe and healthy neighborhoods.
