The Great Rhodius Clean Up

It was a dark and gloomy day when we set out on our mission. The 3 of us stood looking and the vastness before us and grabbed our tools to take on our job. We made it as far as the playground and we stopped by the magnitude of the work. Some one had partially destroyed the wall by taking the 100 lb. blocks and putting them under the playset. We set to work and put the wall together again. We accomplished our task and felt a sense of pride about our Van Gogh restored to it's original beauty.

The Girl Scouts of the neighborhood under took the task of cleaning the fence row along the back side of the park next to the interstate easement.

Carnine Little League worked on the leaves around the diamonds and concession area.

The trail has been cut out again and the crushed limestone is on the top of hill awaiting a nice spring day for the installation.

The park is beginning to look like the sparkling Gem of the neighborhood again.
