The West Meadowbrook Neighborhood Association (WMNA)was created in 1977, making it the oldest neighborhood association in continuous existence on the Eastside.
WMNA is a not-for-profit organization whose members reside, work or own or operate a business within the neighborhood boundaries. We have a potential membership of 3400 households. Our association is a volunteer effort whose purpose is to foster and promote the quality of life in our neighborhood.
Increasing involvement in Code Blue activites and continuing to decrease crime
monitoring code compliance
promoting pride and a positive image of our area and the Eastside
increasing membership and encouraging participation in
promoting revitalization / up keep of our neighborhood, including East Lancaster Ave.
establishing area coordinators/street captains to communicate information relevant to this neighborhood
creating effective working committees
providing support for seniors in our neighborhood
building a bridge with WMNA businesses
fostering alliances and working relationships with other neighborhood associations
