A $300.00 leaf blower was stolen from our yardman's pick-up truck today while he was parked on the street at the curve in the road on Fondren Village Drive (right near the mail boxes). My yardman is filing a report with HPD. Or, he is at least trying, as when I tried there was no one to take the report. They sent me to a web-site, but later I called the yard-man and told he would have to make the report himself (because the web-site said this). His wife thinks that someone was watching him as no one was around. It was early afternoon today (Tuesday)when it was taken, between 1:30-3:00. I called the phone number on the West Place Reader 281-451-7351 to report it and we left a voice message on Mike Lane's voice mail.
