Thank You!

Thanks for correcting my spelling error. People are so nice here in surprise AZ. I have to admit sometimes all the courtesy is annoying. I guess it is great we correct each other because someone may not have known what i was talking about otherwise. I will watch my P's and Q's from now on so as not to confuse you fine West point residents with my quick, inaccurate typing. On another note: Who thought of www.westpointeresidents.com ? Can they think of a longer url? Anyhow it is great people are offering to do this for free. I hope we can all thank each other a few hundred times here. If this catches on maybe I can stop getting those annoying mailings from the HOA. These days who wants to get any more mail then they have to? So my complaints are now: #1 Not enough Bandwidth for this site (but there aren't many posts so i guess it isn't needed) #2 no spell check (but if mark is around we can all feel safe he will correct us #3 the url for WPR is a bit long. #4 to much HOA mail. #5 Someone should take a wrecking ball to the homes on the other side of the railroad tracks. We grow our own criminal?’s right over there then allow them to shop in Walmart and work there. I like Nothing more then waiting in line for 30 mins then get a nice greeting by a woman with 1 or 2 teeth and a few dozen tattoos reeking of beer at 9:30 am. Some of you may laugh with me. Some of you may be pissed off. Either way Happy Holidays to all.

point taken.....barely

Anonymous,

You'll have to explain why you think neighborhood/community courtesy is so annoying to you. From what I've seen, most people in WPTC enjoy the respect, kindness, and camaraderie given to them by their neighbors.

Your next point is the length of our ''pending'' website URL. With obvious concerns of cost to residents, we decided it best to use the neighborhoodlink website (you didn't seem to mind typing www.neighborhoodlink/surprise/wptc) as a gauge to measure the amount of ''hits'' received to further evaluate the need for an official site.

In response to your concerns:

#1 Previously stated

#2 Thanks for your vote of confidence

#3 You've already said that....

#4 I've noticed most residents have complained about the lack of HOA correspondence, unless they are receiving violation letters. In either case, expect more communication. The newsletter and this website will continue to improve representative/resident communication.

#5 There's always two sides to a track, two sides to a fence, and sadly, there's sometimes two sides to a person. Unfortunately, you've shown two sides of yourself...neither are productive to our community.

Although deductive reasoning gives your anonymity away, I respect your comments. I hope to see you next month at the HOA meeting.

Regards,

Mark

Community annoying? That isn't what I said. There is now a large amount of people who relocated here from different states or countrys. You can always tell a local because 9 times out of 10 there drunk, high on something or 90 years old driving 15 mph down bell road. Everyone is all smiles and chatty. I happend to come from a big city myself (nj) and at times it is nice everyone is so nice but also some of the things people say and do make you want to strangle them. MAybe because you know I'm from NJ now you understand my frankness and sarcasm. You sound a bit ruffled by my post mark. You must have been raised like a veal in some box in a smilely town in AZ or somewhere else where there were no cities to harden you up a bit. As for the URL here.. It is just a unfriendly as the other one we were talking about. I just happened to point & click in no typing for me I have a indentured servent for that from across the tracks. Sometimes people just want to go shopping or run in a store with out a big detour from mr or mrs. smiles asking where your from or hows your day etc. I suppose that will fade as more of us make the trip and relocate here. The mayor is doing a great job turning this place in to a city. The sooner she buldozes the low income housing across the tracks the sooner we can have homeless people sitting outside walmart, homedepot etc. I can't wait until there pushing baskets up and down the streets looking through our garbage on garbage day. That is why we need recycling and a deposit for aluminum cans.. They can go house to house like in any other city going through your garbage collecting cans. on a serious note I moved here to get away from the city life but the way things are being built over here i could have stayed where i was at. All these new stores built are all garbage. Is this really how you want to live? No real restraunts just fast food. A huge baseball complex to add trafic and noise and don't forget more minimum wage jobs. If this is desirable to everyone then great I'll use it as a selling feature when i sell my home and move a bit more west. Now there are a lot of great people living around here but the majority of them don't have the time to preserve the good things in WP nor can they do anything about the mayor so there ready to move on like myself somewhere else maybe a few blocks west of here so they can plan there next move.
