About our association

Neighborhood Watch Mission Statement

The objectives the Neighborhood Watch shall be to:
1. Foster neighborhood identity and sense of community.
2. Represent and advance the interests of residents in the neighborhood.
3. Keep all residents informed of issues vital to the neighborhood by appropriate communication and meetings.
4. Investigate and make recommendations to the Neighborhood Watch committee's on all matters of neighborhood concern.
5. Establish mutual protection and safety.

Membership

Membership shall be open to any person 18 years or older, who lives within West Prairie Village boundaries

Reward, Recognize & Record Success

It is important to reward and recognize the value and importance of other people’s efforts. These acknowledgments should be a in the form of a simple and generous thank you. In a follow-up or subsequent meeting, the neighborhood watch group may want to make the rest of our community aware of accomplishments. Outstanding youth in the community should also be acknowledged. We welcome and encourage your input.
