As a reformed gang member ,I want to tell you this....these kids are harmless ,doing the best they can do to survive in a world filled with nothing but peer- presure.Doing what they can to not end up like the group down by the park.I really don't know what some of you people expect...you complain when these kids are causing trouble, you complain when they are trying to have fun.Did you forget about being a kid? Let them create these ramps.....creation....these kids are our future....they'll create flying cars!!LET THEM.We all sit behind these computers because we don't have the guts to go outside and praise them...praise them for what they are..not for what they arn't.These are OUR kids, the kids of the future.So.... instead of bashing them for every little thing they do,why not stop...and let them know how creative they are....it's all about CREATVITY.It's about life...it's about the future. I guess I'm not understanding why they can't use the area at the end of 41st Street. It seems like a perfect dead end. Who would complain about that??? I would think the neighbors and parents would encourage they play there instead of it the middle of the intersection. If your a neighbor complaining about this area(north end of 41st) and you read this... T.S. get over it. Unless they are out there past 10 P.M. you got nothing to complain about. There kids, let them be, find some other crusade. Like why we have had a meeting in the park yet? Now there is a subject that needs to get addressed. You want to talk about bad news go drive down by Valley Park after 9P.M. I don't know where they are all day but the sun goes down and ''WHAM!!!'' the park is crawling with trouble. Walking up and down St Paul Ave talking that wanna be gang banger crap. Ni*ger this Bi*ch that. How bout that little problem??? By Piggsville Resident |

As far as the end of 41st Street the neighbor that complained about the skateboards in that intersection, the skateboarders were not in the intersection they were on private property skating boarding and when asked to take it somewhere else they cooperated with the neighbor. They also where out past 10 P.M. The dead end of 41st street would be a perfect place for skateboarders to do their thing. I agree, it is nice to see the neighborhood kids enjoying the summer in a respectful way. By piggsville fan |
