The Washington Park Neighborhood in Milwaukee extends east from Washington Park to 35th Street and north from the Park to North Avenue, with the southern line at W. Vliet Street and the western limit at the U.S. 41 Stadium Freeway or N. 47th Street.

Washington Park Neighborhood, Milwaukee, is the residential area east of the Park to 35th Street, and north of the Park to North Avenue. The neighborhood was settled in the 1880s thru the early 1900s as Milwaukee's population mushroomed. The park itself was designed by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead (New York's Central Park) and constructed in 1892. You can read more on the neighborhood homepage at:
