Washington Park East Neighborhood Association

I really enjoyed last night's neighborhood meeting. It was packed full of great information. I appreciated the I-25 Corridor undate and felt more comfortable after the meeting. The change in the street sweeping schedule may be a little difficult, but I understand their logic. It was also great to see that the Denver Police will be using our web site to communicate with us! Bravo!

What a transparent puff piece about the meeting just to boost the site! On the other hand, you certainly prompted me to reply. If you're planning to pretend you're jus' regular folk and NOT an officer of the association or one of the meeting's speakers, try to be a little more creative in your writeup next time. At least put something a little negative to be believable. Or 'fess up and sign your name! And try to spell correctly. We'll be watching.

NO I-25 SOUND WALL FOR US??

i understand that there was some discussion at the meeting regarding the current proposal for no sound wall to be constructed from franklin street to university blvd. is there any neighborhood concern for this? most of e. wash pk and the south half of the park itself will be exposed to additional noise from the added freeway lanes and the light rail . i am interested to know if there is a committee forming to oppose this. could anyone with any information please e-mail me?

Wow - where did this come from?

I am the original "anonymous" person and the reason I did it anonymously is because I am more comfortable on the web that way. (As I see you are!) I am new to the neighborhood (moved in 6 months ago), not an officer and definitely not a speaker. I just wasn't expecting such an informative meeting, since in my last neighborhood the meetings were pitiful. I don't really understand why you took the time to attack my statement. Was this a bad meeting compared to others the association has, so that my statement seemed ridiculous? I would like to make one last statement concerning my ability to spell....at least I use the full words and don't use slang - I refer to your 'fess and jus'. (Also - "write-up" has a hyphen. One more question...who is the "we'll be watching" - are you part of the elite Wash Park mafia or some other group?
