Hello again from Broward County Parks! Sorry, I missed the weekly mailing last week. Things are quite hectic here. We have another natural area opening to the public coming up on Friday, February 20th at 10 a.m. This time we are inviting you to come to the Hillsboro Pineland Natural Area, 5591 N.W. 74th Place, Coconut Creek. Broward County Mayor Illene Lieberman and Commissioner Kristin D. Jacobs will be leading the ceremony.
This area is located just to the east of State Road 7 (US 441) about ?½ mile north of Hillsboro Blvd. If you are coming, please RSVP to the Parks Marketing Team at 954-357-8118. We want to make sure we have enough chairs and refreshments for all those who attend.
If you want to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather we are having, here are some ideas for you through Sunday, February 15th.
