So, You Want to Donate a toy to a needy family this Christmas Holiday

President John F. Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” Americans are compassionate people who want to help fellow citizens in need. The city of Lauderdale Lakes has experienced its share of economic hardship like the rest of the nation. Just recently, Island Grill Restaurant has closed its doors making the Christmas holidays a lot less meaningful for about 60 identified family members. Many of them are high-school students who counted on part-time work to either supplement their parent’s income or provide for their weekly allowances.

More than one hundred families with children are counting on your generous contributions. Your kindness might be the only hope for many homes with children during the holidays.

If you want to volunteer, please keep the following information in mind:
