SPRING HAS SPRUNG! Here are the latest developments blooming at Waterside I

CABLE..OpTel is now the primary cable service in our community. On April 5th, 1998 OpTel held a cable sign-up in the east parking lot. There was a lot of music, good food and great giveaways. Congratulations to Van Johnston, the grand prize winner of the 19" color TV. Other winners included Brad and Alane Chronowski, Paula Reeger, Laura Wrede, Amber Brenzikofer and Harry Schlichtmann. Several other owners and residents also received free gifts and cable service.

Basic cable service will cost $26.00 per month and PREMIUM channels and packages will also be available. For further information contact Optel at 1-800-487-3320.

A special thank you goes out to the service technicians, office managers and marketing department of OpTel for making the "block party" a success at Waterside I.

ROOFING..Conner Roofing L.L.P. has completed the re-roofing of our buildings. The Association continues to receive positive comments from residents regarding the project and its overall appearance. Now that the weather has settled down, the Association and Conner staff will take a final walk through the community to identify problems, if any.


FRONT DECK AND STAIRWELL STATUS..At the March 25th HOA meeting the Board signed the contract for Conner Construction to repair the front decks and stairwells. Repairs are expected to begin in late April. Owners and/or residents will be notified as to the work schedule. Reminders: ** All personal items will need to be removed from this area. **Rear entry will be required during all repairs. **Once repairs are completed, there will be no indoor-outdoor carpeting permitted in the front entry. **Staining and Painting will occur after the front deck and stairwell repairs are completed on each building.
