Hi everyone my family and I moved in the Watterson Woods are in September of 2006. We live on Alphin ct. We have a problem with a neighbors dog that is let out to roam around. On more then one occasion the dog has chased after my now 7 year old when she out playing. We have tried to talk to owners of the dog and have gotten answers like I cant control the dog I have a baby or I dont know what to do with the dog. Why should my family and all the other neighbors have to worry about is the dog loose or not. This dog has chased other kids on the street. We feel we are being held hositage. Can any one help with advice. Please.

Dear Sir: Your first call should be to Animal Control. Though I think they go by the name "Animal Services" now.
You will need a description of the dog, and the address of the owners.
You can contact them with a "service request" at 363-6609. They do keep all information private and all calls are anonymous.
However, you are doing this dog no favors by not reporting it to Animal Control. They will drop by and chat with the owners. Dogs left to run are not only a danger to others, but at higher risk for being hurt or run over.
