THATS A LITTLE DRAMATIC.  HONESTLY.

IT'S $50 BUCKS A YEAR AND ABIDE BY WHAT ARE BASICALLY CITY ORDINANCES AND YOU'LL PROBABLY NEVER HEAR FROM THEM.  NOT TO MENTION THE HOA WILL DEAL WITH ALL THE LEGAL ISSUES AND MAINTENANCE TIED TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.  WHICH, BY THE WAY, I CAN TELL YOU FROM THE PAST SIX MONTHS EXPERIENCE....IS NO FUN.  COMPARED TO ANY ALTERNATIVE I HAVE HEARD, I STILL SAY WE ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING.  SORRY YOU DISAGREE.

Actually it is more than $50 a year dues in HOA, its more like$180 a year, and given the large number of homes and the return of investment, most of us are not content. We feel we need an accounting of expenditures. We need association meetings. We do not feel light bulbs and ocassional fence repairs  justify the charges. We feel the pools should be working. They are part of the amenity of living here. We feel that we are going to demand an accountability of the dues  and expeditures, as without controls opportunity exists for  misuse. We feel the so called vandalism of the pools is an excuse and the neighborhood can well afford  the insurance and lifeguard to use the pools. We are not happy with the roads , damaged by the builder being allowed to use  water connections to city mains  which NOW are unlawfull to use but then were coded speacifically for him to use. The roads are in terrrible shape and we dont see the association doing enough about it. How much is the lawyer retaining fee? Where is maintenance grounds keeper?
