Board Positions- Candidate Slate - Neighbors for Change Slate
President-
Vice President: OPEN - in the absence of the President the VP shall reside at all meeting and shall act in that capacity to assist the President. (Currently Mike Wertz)
Secretary – OPEN keep a list of the members, update files, committee lists, attend all meetings and record and draft minutes, meeting notes and agendas.
Treasurer –
Community Interest Coordinator – liaison with all other neighborhood, community and civic organizations, serve on audit committee (we’ve never had an audit of the books as it is called by the President) Update the Newsletter Coordinator about zoning, Crime Watch Information and neighborhood safety concerns. Collects information pertinent to the community from Neighborhood Coordinators and presents information to the Board, the Pike Township Residents Association, Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development, the City County Council and other Civic organizations.
Membership Coordinator –- Open lead Committee to include (Carol Mullins, …) recruit and keep account of payment receipts, forward to treasurer
Newsletter –
Social Coordinator – Open + (Committee to include: plan along with WERC, block parties, seasonal gatherings, fund raisers and work with other coordinators to compile information for the newsletter.
Neighborhood Coordinators –Liaisons to the neighborhood, Crime Watch, maintain a phone tree or email/text alerts, and to improve communication. Work closely with Crime Watch, Newsletter, Membership and Social Coordinator, and serve on special committees as needed.
At large members – assist other Board members in the performance of their duties.
It is our goal to set committees for Crime Watch, Social, Newsletter, Coordinator and Membership with board member serving as chairs.
Thanks for your involvement, this is an exciting time to really make a difference in not only our neighborhood but in the area. Ideas for projects, resources to get them funded. There are individuals in the neighborhood that would step up to serve if given an opportunity
