ABOUT WESTCLIFFE ASSOCIATION

MEMBERSHIP:

The Westcliffe Homeowners Association is made up of all lot owners of the Westcliffe Addition. All lots in Westcliffe are subject to rules, restrictions and covenants as set forth in the Covenants and By-laws of Westcliffe. Each owner shall comply strictly with the By-Laws, Covenants and Rules and Regulations of the Westcliffe Owners Association. Before beginning any building projects please look over the By-laws and Covenants for regulations. If you have any questions please contact a Board member.


BOARD MEETINGS AND OTHER INFORMATION:

The Westcliffe Homeowners Association Annual meeting is held in January every year. The Board of Managers meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the residence of a Board member. Board members are elected annually at the Association's Annual meeting. All meetings are open to the Members. If you would like to attend a Board meeting please contact a Board member to get the location.

Participating on the Board or on a Committee is a great way to become a active member in your community. By keeping the Westcliffe Addition a thriving great place to live it also increases the values of our homes!

ASSOCIATION DUES:
All lots owned have a mandatory annual assessment dues in the amount of $260.00. The commencement date is Dec. 1st and shall be due by January 15th. However, dues will be accepted without a $25.00 Penalty until January 31st. Dues that continue to go unpaid are subject to a lien being filed on the property. The purpose of the annual assessment due is that the Association is required to pay the associations annual operating expenses and reserves. To maintain, insure and pay taxes on our commonly owned property.

Members must be in good standing, i.e. current on association dues and/or no violations, in order to utilize the pool or vote on association items.

The Association makes no profit and one of the purposes is to make the community a nice, safe place for our families to live. The dues are used to maintain our common areas, pool facilities, improvements, utilities, insurance and taxes of all commonly owned areas.

So far most of the beautification of the neighborhood, special mailings, newsletters and functions such as picnics have been funded by neighbors. We hope in the future to have the money to fund annual events such as Easter Egg Hunts and other fun activities for everyone.

Westcliffe A Great Place to Call Home!

Westcliffe is a young but fast growing Planned Unit Development. The Westcliffe Addition will have a total of two hundred and four homes when it is completed. Westcliffe has commonly owned areas including a pool facility, park, pond and open common areas for the children to play. All members of our Association are made up of lot owners. The neighbors make this small community so special! When you are out strolling our sidewalks you always see neighbors outside visiting with one another. Take time to attend a Pot-Luck- Picnic, Block Party or just spend some leisure time relaxing at the pool. Stand and watch a duck landing on the pond. It is nice to live in such a beautiful, neighborly addition. A place that you can be proud to call home!
