Thank you for the kind words; we both know that we have the same goal; and that achieving that goal is hours of research and verification.

I understand your urgency to share the information in defense of CVLEG; especially the work and hours devoted to just one item or in this case many. And, additionally, I am of the position that those who are truly interested in supporting CVLEG will establish contact through phone or e mail or address; which has been publicized on this board. This is the act of sincerity that I look for in communicating with CVLEG.

There is definitely room for opposing viewpoints; but at some level each person will establish what their personal position may be.The references I gave are the basis for forming that position. The additional detail the group has done is the foundation of the platform for CVLEG. As much of this is still in the investigative stage; those who sincerely want to be involved will bring something to the group that may be of value to the group. I am of the position that until they establish this outside contact; that limited information should be posted here; because I for one; do not want to feed information to the opponents of CVLEG that may be used as basis for the campaign against CVLEG.

I appreciate your need to save other's the pain and frustration you have experienced and will continue to experience through the time of the vote in Nov 2000. That is why I talk about a House of Progress; something to look at and say yeah, we are not finished; look what we have accomplished; the steps that are complete; and where we have been successful. This can be finished; the Spirit of Life and the Spirit of Freedom will give us the strength to finish the detail; and the front door. I ask that a sincere gesture, through the means I listed above, be extended to CVLEG before CVLEG shares their total findings with those who are quesitioning. Other than that, I will continue to send them to the library so that they can make the decision to support CVLEG or the opposition. Hopefully, you understand why I am so emotional and protective of the information. Someday we will all meet and celebrate a victory.

I agree with every thing your saying, Br Anon. And I certainly would not distribute personal notes, papers, leters, etc. that make up the summary of my (or our) concerns.

But, I'm thinking that many of these basic documents ought to be accessable to everyone. Take the Feasability Studies for example. I picture some one reading both of those and red flags going up all over the place - even for most folks currently opposing our goals.

That reminds me - Do you know if the 3 copies of the Feasability Study are still in the BF Library or if they have been removed. Also, is the original Feasability Study available at the library?

Another limitation is that listening to the legislative tapes could be cost prohibitive for some people. (~10$/hr as I remember). Personally, I think those ought to be broadcast on the local tv channel.

BrAnon, please write me back and tell me what you think about these kinds of documents being distributed to all who want them. I won't give ANYTHING out til we've talked this through.

I'm as anxious as you to share; however, I have made the delineation that the information should be shared with those who seek it for the purpose of supporting the group.

When BBW was with us; there was a free exchange of ideas and research. The difference between BBW and some on the board now is that it was a free exchange of the information which is public to everyone and available at the library. Plus BBW added to our understanding of the facts by enhancing our reference level; for example to Steve Hogan on the NW parkway. BBW and the group came to agreement on definitions and worked with us in that context. I suggest you read one of the last messages to me before I left the board; BBW suggested we may be in agreement on some things; while we continued to disagree on others. The people who are on the board now; are expecting to be spoon fed the information beyond that which is reasonaably available.

Please note; Margaret suggested I continue to work in my own neighborhood on concerns in my own community. This is a derogatory statement to CVLEG; the community involved here IS the ENTIRE STATE of Colorado. Secondly; to me it is indicative of the "ME" generation; I am the most important person in the world; and don't enter until you are invited. From my viewpoint; this is what causes discension among neighbors; this is what causes alienation.

Personnally, I do not think one person can stand alone; we were all given gifts of which we excel in; but not everyone is a scientist; a carpenter, a writer, or an orator. We are a species dependant upon each other for survival; I at this point, and they may change my mind in the future; see Margaret and John as critics of CVLEG; trying to promote their agenda to mentally distroy the group. How, by denying to themselves and projecting onto it that everything this group has achieved is inadequate; it is lessor than the good; and will fail in the long run; so quit while you still have your sanity in tack. In other words; mind your own business and quit whining that you didn't get your way. They will keep demanding until they exhaust you, WW, and then they will berate you until you give up. All you did, in return for this, was share the results of the hours of work you have devoted to this. And, they turn around and call you, fool. I have seen nothing but negative; and believe me; i have never, in my years witnessed the delineation of representative and direct government that Margaret put on this board. Basically, I was shocked to see it; I will continue to be involved with issues and decisions of my elected officials anytime, anywhere, any way I want.

Again, I say, once someone shows sincerity and brings something to the group through the phone, e, or letter; let them start with the basics.

I see your point BrAnon. The more recent derogatories are not truely trying to exchange info, help us understand them, or understand us. They are basically standing in the sidelines throwing tomatoes. Mostly, they are just destructive. And I do miss BBW. He at least gave me things to think about.

I promise .... no giving away the farm. Thanks for pointing this out to me.... I am often to trusting.
