You have hit the nail on the head!! BBW doesn't really care what we have to say, he/she says we are petty, we are misinformed and have a phobia of jails. Is this wrong?? In my eyes it is not. Too many things have occured that need to be questioned and if I lived in BF I would certainly want to know what MY government is doing. I'm not pleased with Westy CC either, so I'm doing my part to make sure we get some new faces elected!!

Options!!
Well, I think alot of things are wrong and BF's attitude toward countryside is one of them. I just am thankful I live in a country where I can say how how feel even if it makes others mad.

"J" word
Hi BBW,
Sometime back in July, one or more of us said the "if they're not a county, they won't need a jail" thing. And it was not long after that we recognized the flaw in that logic. It stands to reason (and it is our belief) that BF will continue to build the jail no matter what our progress or success. If someone said that recently, it was strictly their own opinion and not that of CVELG.
Our group's thoughts and motivations have evolved over the last 4 months. There are things we believed in the beginning that we do not believe now. Also, there are things we know now that we did not then. Even at the time we chose our name (Colorado Voters for Ethical Local Government) our efforts were no longer about the jail. Our goal is to stop less than honest politics in local government (like that which resulted in the jail and other things that BF residents are concerned about).
One significant problem is that newspapers take quotes from 4 months ago and report them as if they were said yesterday. Oh well.... that's life, I guess. Although that kind of reporting may mislead the public's understanding of us, it doesn't change what we (CVELG) know and feel compelled to do.

Where posted?
BBW, you never have answered where the times and days for state hearings were published for the public to attend. That question has been posed numerous times.
The great majority of Broomfield citizens did not know Broomfield Elected Officials went to the state until after the fact.
And again, the end does not justify the crooked means.
