In the 3900 block of West Clybourn Street a bike was stolen out of a storage shed and another from a garage in the past week.
Some neighbors have reported kids from the neighborhood who are new here trying to strongarm bikes from smaller kids for their bikes. One of these kids had the nerve to go to the home of younger child and tell them to give them her bike.
We also have noticed non-residents riding 2 to a bike casing alleys at night AND in the late afternoon.

Problems

I have noticed that there are many kids out and about the neighborhood on bikes and such later at night. Were the police not supposed to be coming down on curfew violators? I also notice that the other property owned by the owner of the old chicks grocery on 40th and St. Paul, which is something like 4001 W, St Paul has a lot of kids hanging out on the corner of his property (4oth and St. Paul) they sit and hang out on the brick planters all the way up to the building.
I saw the same group of kids I saw out in the 3900 block of Clybourn late at night throwing rocks at a house on Clybourn because the people living there told them to get off of THEIR steps. This was earlier in the week.
Do the parents of these kids know what their kids are out doing while they sit up in their houses? Do they really care?
