Hello, I'm new to the neighborhood and am loving it here!! Just wondering if anyone can tell me which bird makes that loud call every day? It sounds like I'm at the zoo! love it!!!

Hi there! Thanks for your reply! Could it be the peacock? I saw one in the street today... I've also seen a turkey, a cottontail and my son says he spotted a bobcat which I didn't believe until a read a post on this site. Doing a search on bobcat and White Lake Hills is what brought me to this site so I'm guessing I can thank the cat for bringin me here!! haha |
It could be the Mockingbird. It is the state bird of Texas. It can mock sounds of other birds and people. It sometimes will dip down at people and animals. It might be your bird.
