In recent weeks, one or more individuals have been conducting business throughout Tarrant County posing as a Community Action Partner (CAP) agency affiliated with the City of Fort Worth.
The fraudulent business is known as Taxone. The business claims to offer many services directly affiliated with CAP, such as energy assistance programs ot tax planning services similar to CAP'S VITA program. In addition, Taxone also claims to assist with real estate endeavors.
