Good Morning!    

 

At about 1:00 yesterday afternoon, Officer Gabe Thompson was dispatched to a disturbance call at a hotel in the 5200 block of South 1st. During the course of investigating the situation, Officer Thompson identified a 30 year old male who was wanted on a warrant for violating his parole. The man was arrested and booked into the Taylor County Jail.

 

At about 2:30pm, Officer Thomas was dispatched to a theft call in the 2500 block of Buffalo Gap Rd. The reporting party advised Officer Thomas that a white 2008 Dodge Quad Cab PU valued at about $32,000 had been stolen overnight. A report was taken for Theft of a MV. 

 

At about 2:30 this morning, Officer Collins observed a vehicle disregard a stop sign at E Highway 80 and Cockerell. Officer Collins initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of Pine St. A canine alerted on this vehicle and further investigation revealed a marijuana pipe and a quantity of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver, a 22 year old male was arrested and charged with misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.

 

And, we are still looking for David Reyes, the 32 year old man who is wanted for Parole Violation (original charge Involuntary Manslaughter) that walked away from an Abilene hospital yesterday. He is 5’8” tall and weighs about 287 pounds. If you know where to find this man, please notify your law enforcement authorities, or you may call Crime Stoppers at 676-8477
