Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…
Yesterday morning at about 1150 agents of the Special Operations Division stopped a vehicle in the 1400 blk of Pine for a traffic offense. A K-9 alerted on the car and the female driver admitted she had a quantity of cocaine on her person. She surrendered 1.1 g of cocaine and was arrested for Possession of Cocaine.
At about 5:01 yesterday afternoon Agents of the Special Operations Division responded to a call of marijuana reported at a residence in the 2200 blk of Amarillo. Agents contacted a male subject there who gave consent to search. Approximately 7.1 oz of Marijuana was discovered. He was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana.
And finally at about 4:00 this morning Officer Joe Plato stopped a car driving on the wrong side of the road in the 4000 blk of Redbud Circle. The female driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. She was placed under arrest and asked to provide a breath sample. The results were 0.210 and 0.208. The legal limit being 0.08. She was charged with DWI. She also had 3 outstanding warrants.
