CRIME REPORT; 8-8-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at about 7:55 PM Officer Jeremy Holmes was dispatched to the 1800 blk of Meadowbrook where a man was threatening suicide.  Officer Holmes and the man’s father were attempting to get the man out of a P/U truck when the man put the P/U in reverse and struck Officer Holmes and his father knocking them both to the ground.  This man then fled in his P/U and officers pursued.  This pursuit ended when the P/U struck another vehicle injuring the driver .  The man was taken into custody and he did provide a breath sample which was 0.127 and 0.117.  This man was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Peace officer, Aggravated Assault Family Violence, Felony Evading Arrest and DWI with an Accident.

CRIME REPORT; 8-9-11 Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs… Last night at 7:05 PM Officer Cory Davis was dispatched to a disturbance in the 600 blk of Corsicana. On his arrival Officer Davis saw a man running from the scene. Officer Davis caught this man and found him to be in possession of Hydrocodone without a prescription. A victim at the scene had been assaulted by choking and had obvious injuries. This man was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Assault Family Violence. At 1:15 AM Officer Matt Allen observed a possible stolen vehicle and stopped to contact a man who was getting out of it. The man began running through a wooded area and was caught by Officer Allen. He was placed under arrest for Evading Detention. For the Abilene Police Department, this is Det John Clark. Have a great day!

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at about 1:30 PM Officer Tim Pipes was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 2200 blk of Meander.  A female victim said that a male suspect grabbed her by the throat and pushed her down.  She ran outside and the suspect chased her out and punched her with his fist.  A witness called the police.  Officer Pipes contacted this male suspect and arrested him for Assault Family Violence. 

 

Yesterday at about 4:50 PM Officer Marc Valentine was dispatched to a theft call in the 100 blk of Sayles.  A male subject entered a building there and took a purse from behind a desk.  This was observed by a witness on video.  The witness detained this man and called the police.  This male subject was placed under arrest for Theft. 

 

And finally at about 1:25 AM Officer Carye Adkins stopped a car for speeding in the 4900 blk of S 7th.    The female driver smelled of an alcoholic beverage and was under 21.  She was arrested for Driving Under Influence of Alcohol.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday morning at about 9:30 AM Agent David Gray of the Special Operations Division observed a female subject pick up prescription drugs with a forged prescription at a south side business.  She was arrested and charged with Fraud and Possession of a Controlled Substance: Hydrocodone. 

 

Yesterday at about 5:30 PM Officer Kevin Ohnnheiser was dispatched to a disturbance in the 5300 blk of Encino.  A female victim claimed that a male subject pulled her hair, punched her in the face, and kicked her in the back.  This victim had visible injuries.  The male subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence. 

 

And finally at about 11:45 last night Officer Sumrall was dispatched to a disturbance in the 2300 blk of Bishop.  Female subject there claimed that a male subject punched her in the face.  She had visible injuries.  This male subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence.
