CRIME REPORT; 10-3-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at 10:55 PM Officer Brian Poynor stopped a vehicle in the 2100 block of Simmons for a traffic offense.  The male driver appeared intoxicated and only performed one of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest for DWI and he refused to give a breath sample. 

 

At 11:05 PM Officer Andrew Valdez was dispatched to a disturbance in the 800 block of Grape.  A female victim reported that she had been struck in the face several times and had visible injuries.  A male suspect was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence. 

 

And finally at 2:03 AM Officer Steffen Hartness was dispatched to a call by a citizen who reported that he was being followed by another vehicle that was driving recklessly.  Officer Hartness stopped this vehicle in the 4700 block of Southwest Drive.  This male driver appeared intoxicated and only performed one of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest for DWI.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 3:29 PM Officer Stan Meiser stopped a car in the 2000 block of Sandefer for expired license plates.  The driver had seven outstanding traffic warrants.  He was placed under arrest on those warrants. 

 

At 9:21 PM Officer Chris Volirakis was dispatched to a single car accident in the 3700 block of Ridgemont where a car had struck a utility pole.  The driver appeared intoxicated and refused to take the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  This male driver was placed under arrest for DWI.  He refused to give a breath specimen.

CRIME REPORT; 10-5-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at 9:00 PM Officer Brandon Scott was dispatched to a single car  accident  in the 1500 block of Arnold where a car struck a concrete barrier.  The male driver appeared intoxicated and  failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest for DWI and he provided a breath sample.  The results were 0.232 and 0.240.  The legal limit is 0.08.  This male driver was charged with DWI with Accident. 

 

Last night at 10:40 PM Officer Matt Allen was dispatched to a disturbance in the 2700 block of N 1st.  Witnesses saw a male subject strike his wife several times.  She had visible injuries.  This male subject was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence. 

 

And finally at 4:45 AM Officer Matt Allen was dispatched to a disturbance in the 2000 block of N Clack.  A female subject claimed that she had been struck in the face by her boyfriend.  She had a visible injury.  This boyfriend was contacted and admitted striking this female subject.  He was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at 9:26 PM Officer Josh Davis stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Walnut for running a stop sign.  The male driver was observed spitting out a plastic bag that contained 3.4g of marijuana.  He was placed under arrest for Possession of marijuana. 

 

At 12:15 AM Officer Roger Romero stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of N 13th for driving without headlights.  The driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest and provided a breath sample.  The results were 0.141 and 0.131.  The legal limit is 0.08.  He was charged with DWI with 1 prior offense.
