If many of you do not notice, the safety of our community is going to the dogs. Below I list those things that are troubling.
Speeding- there are too many drivers who have lost respect for our community roads. I cannot tell you how many near misses there are every day. If we have posted speed limit signs they must be hidden from view or hidden from the minds of those speeders.
What is a speeder?- a driver who disobeys traffic in all types of situations and weather conditions.
Why do they speed?- drivers speed because they dont care, dont get caught, and do not think of others.
What needs to happen- everyone needs to approach these people and or report them to the county. Even having a State Policeman on the street has no affect on drivers.
Stop signs- I cannot count the amount of cars that run the stop sign at the entrance into Windybush. Watch sometime and see for yourself. Why put a stop sign when most drivers dont even stop at it
Golf carts in the neighborhood- wow now I have not seen the golf course yet but it must be close because I see adults and children driving them through the neighborhood. Kids under 16 actually driving the golf cart. God I hope we never see an accident involving these golf carts. Im sure it would not be pretty.
