Does anyone know how to go about reserving the clubhouse? I am wanting to have a baby shower there but it seems everytime I go to the clubhouse nobody is there that can help me.

call the club house the number is 515-967-6400 if you don't get a hold of her leave a message and she will call you back. you have to do it early though sometimes it fills up fast. And I do believe you need to have a 100$ deposit cash that you will get back when she does a walk though of the club house to make sure it is clean when you are done. Kinda a pain but I think that people have left it messy and now we have to put a deposit on it. Kinda sad really that people would do that to their own community=) hope that helps! |

I am sorry but I think I am to blame for the Deposit. I was having a Party for our Sister-in-law and arrived to find empty bottles and trash all over I took pictures and cleaned someone Else's mess so I could host a party for my family. I gave the pictures to Karen and then the $100 deposit started. So I am sorry if it is upsetting but it ensures that these people clean up after themselves.

I wouldn't be sorry!! It's ridiculous that people left that kind of mess! It's actually embarrassing! We're all adults here and we wouldn't, at least I hope, leave a mess like that in our own home so why would someone do it some where else. It's also VERY upsetting that people are borrowing tables and not returning them!!! We had a shower there a few months back and was worried I wouldn't have enough tables or chairs for the guests! People just need to grow up and act their age so it's not ruined for all of us! I enjoy having use of the clubhouse, yes, the deposit is a pain, but at least we can use it for our parties. If people don't keep it clean then we won't even be able to do that. Simple fact of respect! Don't feel bad Dan!! Whoever left the mess should.
