Curb appeal is a common term used by real estate agents. Curb appeal is synonymous with a first impression.
It relates in real dollars to home and property value.
Your home?’s curb appeal andhome value affects the entire neighborhood?’s value, therefore it is fair to say a neighborhood has curb appeal as a whole.
What can we do?
First of all, consider the curb.
Do you keep the curb in front of your home clear of trash, grass clippings, and leaves?
Do you trim the grass edge of your yard so it has a neat appearance?
If there is a drain in front of your home do you keep it clear?
Secondly, your mail box is directly on the curb. Your mailbox should be an attractive outpost of your home, permanently on display at the curb to receive visitors and outwardly represent you and the home in which you live.
We all have a stake in the curb appeal of our home and our neighborhood, and as such can only benefit from keeping the curbs in the neighborhood clean and neat.
Let?’s make the curb appeal in Woodberry Forest a good first impression.
