The development of our community commenced in 1993 with several new homes and construction plans for 100 lots. The last home was built in 2004 to complete the neighborhood and fully occupy the perimeter of the single-access community.

Our Incorporated Association

Woodlake Estates Homeowners' Association, Inc. was established on August 19, 1993 with the creation of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Woodlake Estates Addition by Woodcrest Realty of Norman, OK. The Association was passed on to the community itself after a few years, and has since been independantly maintained and organized by the Member Homeowners.

Our Board of Directors

Our Association Board is elected on a two-year, alternating basis, with the current rotation of President and Secretary having begun the term beginning in January, 2007, and the Vice President and Treasurer in January, 2006. An official vote for our Boardmembers occurs each January, at the Association's annual meeting.

Your Association at Woodlake Estates

The Woodlake Estates Homeowners' Association is made up of all homeowners in Woodlake Estates whose dues are current. We Convene at an annual meeting each January for the purpose of conducting Association business and electing the Board of Directors. Our Covenants and By-laws need to be read over by all homeowners. The WEHA Board is elected on a two-year, alternating basis. The current rotation of vice-president and treasurer started the term beginning in January, 2008. The president and secretary began the second year of their terms in January, 2008. We highly encourage all homeowners to consider volunteering for our many committee positions or to transition onto the board of directors.

Association Dues

Annual Association dues (currently $210.00) are payable each January 1st, with late fees after March 31st. Members are strongly encouraged to make dues payment as early as possible in January, such that the treasury can balance the budget and disburse funds for needed repairs, improvements, insurance and taxes. Full financial disclosure is provided at the annual meeting, and in the official minutes.
