The final word from the police regarding the gunshots fired on N. 40th Street on Aug. 2nd is as follows (and this is public record):
A male resident from 431 N. 40th St. and another male alledge they had been at the State Fair and got into an altercation with other males who then followed them from the State Fair to the residence and shot at them from a Black Chevy Beretta. The driver of the Beretta was a white male.
The shooting incident was reported by other neighbors on the block, not those involved in the shooting. A neighbors car which was parked on 40th Street at the time was hit by a bullet fragment. No one has been arrested regarding the incident.
