What a sad day.  The community meeting was like a very ugly mob scene.  Whether you agree or not with the proposal to use the convent to help women coming out of prison to re-unite with their children, you don't need to spread lies like Erin Lee, President of Women of Woodlawn, who told the Irish Voice, " “Some of the women who are offered housing have been convicted of violent crimes that they’ve served decades for, while others have been convicted of physical or sexual abuse.”  I know Hour Children and the Irish Catholic nun who has dedicated her life to helping those in need.  This was truly shameful.
