Car breakin
Please call our Police Chief Jim Carter and give him the approximate time of the breakin and if you have any suspects that you think may have broken into your car. Chief Carter can be reached at 574-5471 which is the Jefferson County Sheriff Communications Center for 5th and 6th Class cities. Also, if you have not done it notify Louisville Metro. Police and file a breakin report. |

Robbed
We only know it happened sometime after midnight .We called the police and they had recovered a couple of our items.the thiefs didnt know what they had and when they discovered that they had stolen 2 leather bags that had our Bibles in them they left them on the ground, and a neighor saw them and turned them in.I guess they didnt want to find God or were afraid of Him .They also stole money ,which we wont get back.Need less to say i sleep with one eye opened now. FYI
I've noticed lately some young people trolling the streets when they should be home in bed. LouisvilleMetro has a curfew in place passed by the Louisville Board of Alderman in '97 stating that during the hours (listed below) it is prohibited for anyone under the age of 18 to be out on a street in Jefferson County. The hours are: 1am-6am Saturday 1am-6am Sunday 11pm-6am Sunday-Friday Now, I have now idea if the miscreants who broke into your car are in fact teens, but this is a good jumping off place. If you see them out, they shouldn't be, and are probably up to mischief. Call the police. Hope this helps. Also, a rash of break-ins occurred on Green Meadow last year and the thieves took items that only juveniles would be interested in, ie beer. When you're old enough to buy your own why bother? |
